Built in 2000, The Tower of Cosmic Reflections teahouse is a national landmark serving visitors from all over the world. Located inside the Portland Classical Chinese Garden (a collaborative project between the City of Portland and its sister city in China - Suzhou.), the teahouse is a two storied structure with magnificent views. It includes a patio on the second floor, often regarded as 'the best view in Portland'. The Tower of Cosmic Reflections was named for the view one obtains of the 'cosmos' reflected in 'Zither' lake in front of the teahouse. The teahouse was built by a team of over 80 artisans, many of them coming from China over the year-long construction project. It is furnished with antique Chinese furniture in the Ming and Sung dynasty styles. We welcome you to visit the teahouse and immerse yourself in the art of Chinese tea culture.
