The Tao of Tea Inside Whole Foods

We were invited in 2007 to open a tea bar inside one of the Wholefoods Market stores in the Pacific Northwest.  During 2007 to 2011, we operated the tea bar and introduced thousands of visitors to the joy of pure leaf teas.  Our joint collaborative effort hopefully set a high standard for specialty tea retail and tea education.  In addition to conducting tastings, tea classes and special tea events, The Tao of Tea offered a variety of teas, drinks and accessories for sale.  Whole Foods is the leading organic and natural foods retailer in the country.  In summer of 2011, we chose to close the tea bar.
