Classical Serving Styles
The teahouse serves tea in a variety of traditional styles using classical teaware. Serving styles include the famous Gong-Fu style for Oolongs, bowls (chawan) and whisks (chasen) for Matcha (Japanese powdered green tea), Chai cups for Indian tea, bombilla and gourds for South American Yerba Mate, as well as European style teaware for herbals and classic blends. Most enjoyed are our more 'ceremonial' presentation styles. When you visit, feel free to let us know of any specific request you might have in preparing your favorite teas.
