A classic green 'Sheng' style Puer brick made from densely packed, young, silver and gold tipped leaves. This brick has gained a lot of maturity over the years and we have stored it since 2003. The tea leaves are grown in western Yunnan in a region known as Cangyuan, home to a remote tea garden near the Burma-China border.
Similar to wine, Sheng pu-ers change in flavor over time, if storage conditions are conducive. A dark, warm, humid environment and storage in clay jars is ideal for this purpose, as they allow the leaves to 'breathe' and mature. Limited availabilty. Size: 5.75" x 4" x 1". Approximately 250 grams. Servings per cake: 75.
